As a Phlebotomist and Care istant(CNA) you will deliver essential health care services to residentscombining duties as both a CNA and phlebotomist.

Phlebotomist and Care istant CNA PositionSummary :

• PatientCare : Perform routine nursing care maintain a safeenvironment and ist with activities of dailyliving.
• Phlebotomy : Conduct blood draws for laboratory testing ensure properidentification and labeling of samples and follow safetyprotocols.
• ResidentTransport : Coordinate accompany and ist withResidents transportation to and from appointments ensuring safetyand adherence to schedules (no drivingrequired).
• Doentation : Accurately doent blood draws patient interactions and anyincidents. Maintain confidentiality and follow HIPAAregulations.
• EquipmentMaintenance : Clean and maintain phlebotomy equipmentreport malfunctions and store equipmentproperly.
• Safety andCompliance : Adhere to infection control proceduresuse PPE and report any communicablediseases.
• Additional duties asigned.

Requirements :

• Education : High School Diploma or equivalent;CNA certification in New York; Phlebotomy certification (ASCP NPAor similar).
• Experience : Minimum 1 year as aCNA in a sed nursing facility; phlebotomy experiencepreferred.
• Ss : Excellent interpersonalcommunication and organizational ss; attention to detail; abilityto handle stressful situations;

patience and compion for workingwith elderly and disabled individuals.

• Abilityto lift at least 50 pounds stand for extended periods and performtasks requiring manual dexterity.
• Capable ofhandling emotional and physical stress working with hostile orupset residents and exposure to infectiousconditions.
• Attend and participate in trainingand educational programs.
• ist with residentdining grooming and ambulation.
• Maintaincleanliness and safety standards.
• Participatein resident care plan meetings and doent activitiesaccurately.
