Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse

LICENSED PRACTICAL NURSE - PEDIATRICS "We encourage Military Veterans and Military Spouses to apply" SITE OF SERVICE : 21st Medical Group, Peterson AFB and Schriever AFB, Colorado.

Full Time POSITION QUALIFICATION / REQUIREMENTS : Degree : Certificate Education : Graduate from an accredited community college, junior college, college, university or vocational nursing program / practical nursing program approved by the appropriate State agency and accredited by one of the following accrediting bodies at the time the program was completed by the applicant : The National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC) or the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

Experience : 3 years of full-time nursing experience with 1 year of experience in pediatrics. Additional Certification : Current Certifications through American Heart or American Red Cross Basic Life Support for Healthcare (BLS) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) License : Possess a current and unrestricted license to practice as a license as a practical or vocational nurse.

in any one of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S. Virgin Island. U.S. Citizenship : Must be current U.

S. Citizen English Language Requirement : Able to read, write, and speak English well enough to effectively communicate. Physical Capability : Shall be physically capable of standing and / or sitting for extended periods of time and physically capable of performing all services required under the contract.

HOURS : Monday Friday, 0730-1630. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS / SKILLS Must be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Must be able and willing to reprioritize on short notice and work on multiple simultaneous projects. Flexible and able to work with various personalities.

Team-work skills required. Time management skills required. The ability to meet deadlines in a deadline intensive environment is essential.
