Join our collaborative IUHP Cardiology team! We are seeking a patient-focused Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Advanced Heart Failure team practicing at Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis!
Position Details :
- Part time, Weekend Day shift Friday (8am-12pm or 1-5pm), Saturday and Sunday (7am-5pm) 2 10-hour weekend shifts (inpatient) and 1 4-hour clinic day per week No call
- 90% inpatient, 10% outpatient
- Work directly with 3 physicians and 6 other APPs
Responsibilities
This position will include initiation of guideline directed medical therapy, inpatient advanced heart failure management, as well as outpatient follow up appointments in clinic and patient education for heart failure patients.
Qualifications :
- Candidate must be Board Eligible or Board Certified
- Master’s Degree required
- Will accept an ACNP, AGNP, ANP, FNP or PA If new graduate, ICU / PCU nursing experience or extensive ICU or Cardiology experience during clinical rotations required
- Cardiology / Heart Failure experience preferred
- Ideal candidates have excellent critical thinking skills, are able to multitask in a high intensity setting, and have confidence in their clinical skills to function top of scope.

Facility Description

With 1,000 beds, IU Health Methodist Hospital is a large tertiary referral center with over 130 ICU beds. IU Health is building a new downtown hospital and campus, which will consolidate operations of the adjacent IU Health Methodist and University Hospitals.
Construction for the new hospital is well underway and set to open in late 2027. It will feature three 16-story towers with 864 beds.
