5 Years experience performing Accounts Payable tasks
High School Diploma or GED
Flu Shot REQUIRED
Remote Position TX ONLY (30 miles within Arlington, TX)

Accounts Payable Specialist Pay : $24 / hr
Accounts Payable Specialist Shift Hours :
Contract Thru 12 / 2024, BUT Possibly Longer)
Monday-Friday 8am 5pm
Flexible for OT as needed including weekends depending on the business needs
Accounts Payable Specialist Job Description :
Responsible for performing accounts payable related tasks designed to maintain the integrity of the established A / P processes and practices
Timely processing of A / P vouchers
Ongoing review / processing of match exceptions
Prevention and recovery of duplicate payments
Resolution of over payments and credits prevention of lost discounts / rebates
Accounts Payable Specialist Essential Functions :
Analyzes and reviews development of A / P transactional activity to identify overpayments, duplicate payments, price discrepancies, credit returns, erroneous charges and lost discounts.
Processes invoices, check requests, vouchers, and expense reports and records in in the AP ledger.
Prepares specified daily, weekly, and / or monthly reports on findings and reasons for discrepancies.
Supports issue resolution (e.g., vendor inquiries, match exceptions, credit holds, and discrepancies) and status tracking of outstanding issues.
Researches and develops the most effective methods of identifying / resolving issues, minimizing potential losses, and maximizing the recovery of any losses.
