The Prenatal Coordinator, LPN navigates OB patients throughout the pregnancy lifecycle including care education; coordinating routine and diagnostic testing, results interpretation, and procedure scheduling under the supervision of the physician(s) and practice manager.
Serves as a liaison between the patients and provider. Performs other clerical duties as requested.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required :
- Minimum of one year in a medical office setting.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing patient needs.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and / or Google Suite platforms.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred :
- Experience in Obstetrics and Gynecology preferred.
- Knowledge of EPIC Systems.
Licenses and Certifications Required :
- Licensed Practical Nurse.
- AHA Basic Health Care Life Support HCP Certification.
