Key job responsibilities
- Implement best practices in modern software engineering : Frontend and Backend application design, implementation, testing, version control, documentation, deployment, monitoring and operations
- Translate requirements into robust, efficient, supportable solutions that work well within the overall system architecture
- Write high-quality code and participate in design and code reviews to maintain our development standards
- Work with product and design teams to deliver and operate large scale, distributed services in the cloud
- Generate documentation to support regulatory requirements
- Encourage and support knowledge-sharing within team and external groups
- Mentor junior development engineers
- Implement test automation on all code implemented through unit testing and integration testing

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
