POSITION OVERVIEW AND PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) :

Alutiiq Logistics and Maintenance Services, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager supporting the Marine Helicopter Squadron One (HMX-1) and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Base Operations Support (BOS) at JBAB, Washington, D.

C. The successful candidate will possess full authority to act on all contract matters and will lead the project management team to ensure technical, cost, and schedule performance.

This role requires a dynamic leader with a strong background in facility management, team building, and maintenance services, who is adept at interacting with government personnel and ensuring compliance with various regulations and standards.

Key Leadership and Authority responsibilities include the ability to :

  • Exercise full authority to act on all contract matters.
  • Lead the project management team to ensure successful execution of contract requirements.
  • Ensure technical, cost, and schedule performance are met.
  • Must be on-site during the Government's regular working hours and be available on-site within one hour after regular working hours to address any issues.
  • Acts as the primary point of contact with the Government.
  • Make commitments and decisions on behalf of the Contractor in interactions with government personnel.

Contract and Resource Management :

  • Responsible for approving all contract deliverables and arranging necessary corporate support.
  • Ensures project teams have the resources needed to meet objectives.
  • Establishes priorities and allocates resources effectively to align with program goals.
  • Exercises final authority on all purchases, financial transactions, and obligations.

Safety and Compliance :

  • Promotes safe working conditions and occupational health of all personnel.
  • Enforces compliance with OSHA requirements and environmental regulations.

Performance Management :

  • Responsible for meeting frequently with Government customer personnel to discuss performance and work requirements, assess costs, and plan for future support activities.
  • Rewards performance excellence and establish Corrective Action Plans (CAPs) to resolve any quality issues.
  • Develops monthly and annual work plans to ensure continuous improvement and achievement of goals.
  • Ability to foster and maintain partnering relationships with Union representatives.

Environmental and Sustainability Initiatives :

  • Ability to apply the goals and policies of the Environmental Management System (EMS), the Installation Energy Plan, and other specified sustainability requirements.
  • Develop and implement environmental strategies, policies, and programs that promote sustainable development.
  • Provide subject matter expertise on Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) program goals.
  • Collect energy use data and perform internal assessments of environmental systems.
  • Manage Hazardous Material Pharmacy, Solid Waste, Pollution Prevention, Asbestos, Lead-based Paint, Hazardous Waste, RRRP, Air Quality, Water Quality, Natural Resources, NEPA, and Cultural Resources.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing a workforce providing services on contracts of similar size, scope, and complexity.
  • Ability to obtain all required corporate and personnel security clearances and have TS / SCI clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Yankee White background investigations prior to commencement of work.
  • Bachelor's or higher degree from an accredited university or college is preferred but not required.
  • Proven experience in managing contracts that provide comprehensive maintenance of facilities.
  • Strong skills in Facility Management, team building, and maintenance services.
  • Excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must possess a valid state driver's license.
  • Preferably Licensed First Class Stationary Operating Engineer, MD / DC
  • Current TS / SCI preferred, must possess minimum TS Clearance with ability to obtain SCI
