Staff Software Engineer, Java

Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry and we’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Programmatic Platform team.

As a Staff Software Engineer, you will be part of an elite team of engineers responsible for the backend API that serves as the backbone of our Advertising Impressions Infrastructure.

We are using the latest Java-based technologies to power our APIs on AWS-based infrastructure.

What you’ll get to do :

• Build on and improve our API (micro) services written using Java and Spring and / or Spring Boot Technologies running on top of Kubernetes platform on AWS.
• Participate in design and development of data ingestion using Databricks and MySQL.
• Use and improve a multitude of tools like Grafana that allows us to be reactive and proficient with fixing issues before they become a problem.
• Be involved in the overall design and development of improvements for the advancement of our pre-bid and post-bid advertising platforms.

You should apply if you have most of this experience :

• Proficient and involved in designing large-scale, scalable applications from inception to production deployment and support.
• At least 5 years of experience in developing API technologies, preferably using JVM-based technologies.
• Proficiency in cloud-based and containerization technologies (AWS, Docker / Kubernetes).

New York Applicants : The salary range for this position is $116,900 - $200,400. Actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
