We are recruiting for a highly motivated and eager Staff Accountant to join a reputable and stable company in Richmond, VA.

The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

• Perform daily accounting tasks such as accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and bank reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred
• 1+ years of experience in public accounting or corporate accounting
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and internal controls
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
