Job Description
As a Licensing And Accreditation Partner, you'll serve as a trusted consultant and resource to leaders and departments across MaineGeneral Health. You'll provide strategic guidance, education, and coordination to ensure compliance with all federal, state, and accreditation standards helping to maintain continuous readiness for surveys and audits.
In this role, you will :
- Consult on the development, implementation, and management of policies, procedures, and strategies that ensure regulatory compliance and ongoing survey readiness across the organization.
- Advise leadership and departmental teams on the interpretation and application of licensing and accreditation requirements, providing education, coaching, and practical guidance.
- Lead survey management activities for CMS and Joint Commission hospital surveys, ensuring readiness, coordination, and successful outcomes.
- Lead communication and coordination with internal and external entities regarding licensing, accreditation, and regulatory documentation, including submissions and renewals.
- Identify regulatory issues or trends and recommend changes to policies, procedures, and processes to maintain alignment with current standards.
- Consult with leaders to ensure development and execution of corrective action plans when issues are identified; coordinate accountability for ongoing monitoring to verify compliance and performance improvement.
- Monitor and audit operational, performance improvement, and clinical documentation to ensure compliance with licensing and accreditation requirements.
- Administer Compliance 360, ensuring accurate tracking, reporting, and documentation of compliance and accreditation activities.
- Support the MaineGeneral Health Compliance Program and related initiatives that advance regulatory integrity and operational excellence.
What You Bring :
Bachelor's degree in a related field required; Master's degree preferred.Experience in healthcare compliance, accreditation, or regulatory affairs.Demonstrated experience with CMS and Joint Commission standards, survey management, and accreditation readiness.Knowledge of Maine licensing requirements preferred.Experience with compliance management systems (e.g., Compliance 360) preferred.Excellent analytical skills and ability to interpret and apply complex laws and regulations.Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to consult effectively across all levels of the organization.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.Scheduled Weekly Hours :
