Job Details
Med Surg RNs needed for a WV facility for 13 week assignments. This area offers outdoor activities and cultural experiences.
BLS and WV or compact license required.
Job Requirements
Must have experience with ortho patients & PCA Pumps.
Schedule Information
- 12 Hour Shifts : 0700-1930; 1900-0730 with a 1 / 2 hour lunch break.
- Travelers will be scheduled where needed and may be allowed block scheduling if unit needs are met.
- Every-other-weekend requirement.
- Holidays depend on the needs of the unit; travelers expected to work if not enough perm staff.
Unit Specific Information
- Unit : 4N Ortho - Neuro (1033)
- Patient ratios typically 1 to 6.
- Patients may include elective surgeries (hips, knees, shoulders), fractures from falls, back & neck surgeries, and general MedSurg.
- No RN requirements to titrate drips; IV Fluids & PCA pumps common.
- Charge Nurse / House Supervisor presence and responsibilities detailed.
- PCT duties included vitals, FSBS, ADLs, and more.
- Floating requirements to any MedSurg units, details on Tele assignments.
