About the Job :
Medical Assistant responsible for participating in the provision of professional nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses, Providers, and Practice Manager.
What You’ll Do :
Prepare exam room and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations.
Review patient medical history and supporting clinical information.
Use proper patient positioning tools, devices, equipment adjustment, and ergonomically correct scanning techniques
Conduct patient clinical assessment and perform the diagnostic medical sonography examination
Review examination images, synthesize examination results, and prepare the preliminary findings.
Who You Are :
High school diploma or GED required.
Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
Current certification by American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers.
Current license with the NH Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy.
Prior experience in a related health care setting.
