Quality Engineer

Responsibilities :

  • Utilize MS Office programs proficiently : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
  • Collaborate effectively, work independently under minimal supervision.
  • Participate in training for benchmark quality performance.
  • Conduct quality assurance inspections with advanced techniques and measuring equipment.
  • Apply statistical analysis, knowledge of molding, SPC, Kaizen, PPAP, APQP, ISO 9001 audits, ECN, PGA, GD&T, CMM, VMM machines.
  • Strong math skills, statistical principles for measurement accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively in technical documentation, written and verbal channels.
  • Employ problem-solving skills to resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Interpret blueprints accurately, understanding GD&T.
  • Train others to improve performance.
  • Maintain accurate records, document data.
  • Use automotive tools, Control Plans, PPAP process, Gauge R&R, Capability Studies, PFMEA's.
  • Write IQ, OQ, PQ Medical Protocols, Reports, and PPAP Reports for Customers.
  • Recommend, improve measurement techniques for inspection or lab measurements.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Quality or Mfg Engineering plus 10 years related experience in manufacturing, plastic molding or equivalent.
  • Understanding of quality assurance policies, inspection procedures, statistical analysis.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • SPC, Kaizen, PPAP, APQP, ISO 9001 audits, ECN, PGA, GD&T, CMM, VMM machines.
  • Math skills, Statistics, measurement.
  • Written, verbal communication, Problem-Solving skills.
  • Blueprint interpretation, GD&T.
