Quality Engineer
Responsibilities :
- Utilize MS Office programs proficiently : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Collaborate effectively, work independently under minimal supervision.
- Participate in training for benchmark quality performance.
- Conduct quality assurance inspections with advanced techniques and measuring equipment.
- Apply statistical analysis, knowledge of molding, SPC, Kaizen, PPAP, APQP, ISO 9001 audits, ECN, PGA, GD&T, CMM, VMM machines.
- Strong math skills, statistical principles for measurement accuracy.
- Communicate effectively in technical documentation, written and verbal channels.
- Employ problem-solving skills to resolve quality issues promptly.
- Interpret blueprints accurately, understanding GD&T.
- Train others to improve performance.
- Maintain accurate records, document data.
- Use automotive tools, Control Plans, PPAP process, Gauge R&R, Capability Studies, PFMEA's.
- Write IQ, OQ, PQ Medical Protocols, Reports, and PPAP Reports for Customers.
- Recommend, improve measurement techniques for inspection or lab measurements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in Quality or Mfg Engineering plus 10 years related experience in manufacturing, plastic molding or equivalent.
- Understanding of quality assurance policies, inspection procedures, statistical analysis.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- SPC, Kaizen, PPAP, APQP, ISO 9001 audits, ECN, PGA, GD&T, CMM, VMM machines.
- Math skills, Statistics, measurement.
- Written, verbal communication, Problem-Solving skills.
- Blueprint interpretation, GD&T.
