About The Position
Job Title : Central Sterile Technician Job Specialty : Central Sterile Technician Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day - 5x8 - 9am - 5pm;
Weekend shifts - 7am-7 : 30pm Sat & Sun; Tues, Wed, Thurs varied day shifts for 8 hours of 2 of the 3 days Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Not specified License : Not specified Certifications : CRCST or NBSTSA CST Must-Have : Certification in CRCST or NBSTSA CST Job Description : - Ensure the proper sterilization and decontamination of medical instruments.
- Adhere to safety protocols and procedures for infection control. - Maintain an organized and clean work area in compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure timely availability of sterilized equipment. - Perform quality checks on sterilization processes and equipment.
- Keep accurate records of sterilization activities and equipment maintenance. - Participate in ongoing education and training sessions to stay updated on best practices.
