Falcon Environmental is currently recruiting for a Field Service Technician to join our team in the Frederick, CO Office.

This person will be providing water and wastewater equipment solutions, preventive maintenance and startup / training services to our existing customers Rocky Mountain States which include Colorado, Wyoming, Montana, and New Mexico.

Preferred Start Date : TBD / ASAP

Starting Salary : TBD based on experience and applicable knowledge

Primary Responsibilities

1. Work under direction of the Service Manager in repair shop to break down, inspect and perform basic repair on pumping equipment.

Each repair will be followed up by an In-Shop Service Report.

2. Travel to customer sites to inspect, install, commission, test, calibrate, repair and train customers on the safe and proper operation of Falcon Environmental water / wastewater pumping & treatment products.

3. Travel to customer sites with Crane Truck to pull submersible pumps from wet-well pits. While onsite, basic repair and maintenance efforts will be completed.

4. Perform field visits to existing customers to market Equipment Upgrades and Preventative Maintenance Programs.

5. Communicate field failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.

6. Complete and submit field service documentation in a timely manner.

7. Perform other work-related tasks as assigned. Ex : Deliver equipment to clients.

Education & Experience Qualifications

1. Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2. Microsoft Office knowledge is required.

3. Ability to read and interpret hydraulic schematics and basic electrical drawings. (Training will be provided if these skills are not developed yet.)

4. Mechanical experience is required.

Job Requirements

1. Ability to be self-motivated is a must.

2. Must possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

3. Must be comfortable to work in environments with wastewater.

4. Must be comfortable in construction zones and familiar with required personal protective equipment at sites under construction.

Hard hat, protective boots, high visibility vests, oxygen detectors & hazardous gas meters)

5. Must be comfortable with overnight travel up to 25% of each month. No weekend work will be required.

6. Ability and desire to learn the internal workings and approaches to repairing water & wastewater equipment.

7. Experience operating a crane truck is preferred.

Overtime Bonus / Flex Time :

Whenever you work overtime hours (40 hours per week) you are eligible for Overtime bonus on billable overtime hours or Flex time to take the time off on a later date.

Our 401(k) has 100% contribution from the company with no required match. The contribution is 3% of the employees’ wages.

Profit Sharing Plan :

Our profit-sharing plan contributes into their 401(k) account at the end of each year. No employee match is required to be eligible for this.
