Position Summary : :

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is seeking part time Graphic Design instructors to teach in person Graphic Design courses as needed within an AAS : Advertising and Graphic Design degree program. Morning, afternoon and evening courses are possible.

This degree program is housed with the Department of Art & Design alongside a vibrant AFA degree program.

Required Education / Experience : :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Digital Media, or related field.
  • Thorough knowledge of current Mac OS and current Adobe Creative Suite software
  • Thorough knowledge and competency to instruct introductory and intermediate levels of graphic design classes.

Preferred Education / Experience / Skills : :

  • Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design or related field
  • Experience with Coding, Web Development and Interactive Media highly preferred.

    6. Meet deadlines, including maintaining and submitting accurate class records, employee records / requests, and other assigned tasks.

    7. When applicable, ensure laboratories are appropriately stocked with required supplies and equipment is in safe operating order.
