We have an opening for an exceptional Principal Engineer - Data to join our real-time data engineering team! As a technical leader, you'll be responsible for driving innovation and improvement in our real-time data-related infrastructure and workflows powering direct digital marketing product features for our customers.

You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge solutions that meet the company's business objectives.

Responsibilities :

• Architect and lead the implementation of complex data-related projects, leveraging expertise in our tech stack of AWS cloud, Clickhouse / ElasticSearch, Flink, and Dagster.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to identify areas for optimization, improvement, and innovation in our data infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of emerging technologies that can address pressing technical challenges or enhance existing workflows.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers on data-related topics.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical capabilities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring knowledge sharing across teams.

Requirements :

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on data infrastructure and processing (e.g., ETL pipelines, data warehousing).
• Experience with OLAP databases and performance considerations.
• Strong understanding of AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda), Clickhouse, ElasticSearch, Flink (stream data processing), and Dagster (batch data processing).
• Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education and work location.

In addition, some roles may be eligible for additional on target commission pay or bonus. The compensation package includes health and welfare benefits including paid leave.
