The Senior Clinical Nurse plays a crucial role in creating a compassionate environment for patients and their families. This individual implements physician orders, administers medications, performs treatments and procedures, and evaluates diagnostic tests.
Additionally, the Senior Clinical Nurse collaborates with the nursing team to create a tailored care plan for each patient and provides guidance to ancillary personnel.
The position may require access to sensitive information, and the Senior Clinical Nurse is responsible for ensuring the protection of such information.
