Piper Companies is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join a consulting engineering company located in Norfolk, MD .
Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer include :
- Develop mechanical design drawings and specifications
- Create calculations in regards to mechanical, plumbing, and fire protection
- Estimate costs associated with the project's designs
- Meet with key clients to discuss current projects, evaluate performance, and identify new business opportunities
Qualifications for the Mechanical Engineer include :
- 10 years of experience working at established engineering firms-architectural preferred
- Prior experience working with software design programs (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, etc)
- Preferred to have PE certification.
- Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with a concentration in Mechanical Engineering
Compensation for the Mechanical Engineer include :
- Salary Range : $100,000 - $150,000 *Depending on experience*
- Full Benefits : Health Coverage, Vision, Dental, Life, Disability insurance, 401K saving program
- Yearly annual bonus based on company performance
