As a Security Officer Unarmed Government Facility Patrol in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment for all. Your presence and attention to detail will contribute to a positive atmosphere, while your strong communication and customer service skills will help you interact professionally with the public. Position Type : Full Time

Pay Rate : $29.08 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day Time

Monday : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Tuesday : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Friday : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Saturday : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

Sunday : 2 : 00 PM - 10 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related incidents, or maintenance issues encountered during patrols.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and local authorities as needed to address security-related concerns.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to employees, visitors, and / or the public.
  • Complete required documentation and incident reports in a timely and accurate manner.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Baton certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
