About The Position
Job Title : Advanced Practice Caregiver Job Specialty : Cardiovascular Job Duration : Permanent position Shift : Four 10-hour days Guaranteed Hours : Full-time (80 hours per pay period) and part-time (60 hours per pay period) available Experience : Minimum 2 years of inpatient cardiology experience as NP / PA (excluding RN or training experience) License : Oregon license or willingness to obtain Certifications : Board Certified NP or PA Must-Have : Ties to Oregon (e.
g., family in the area or previous residency) Job Description : Join a collaborative, growing cardiology service line in a low-stress, engaging environment.
- No call and no weekends are required; rotate weekly between hospital and clinic settings.- Participate in outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals.
- Manage cardiology patients under the direction of the Cardiovascular Service Director.- Engage in both outpatient (15-18 patients per day) and cath lab settings (6-8 patients per day).
- Work alongside four physicians on staff.- Utilize EPIC EMR for patient records.- Demonstrate effective critical thinking and communication skills.
- Maintain confidentiality, act independently with minimal supervision, and be flexible with changing job requirements.- Participate in personal educational growth and collaborate on patient quality solutions.
