English Company is seeking a motivated and experienced Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of construction experience, be able to read blueprints, and possess strong knowledge of wood and steel stud framing, millwork installation, and other carpentry tasks.

Candidates must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation, as well as the ability to work safely and efficiently in varying conditions.

Compensation is based on experience.Who we are : Irwin H. English Company is seeking an experienced and motivated Carpenter to oversee carpentry tasks on various commercial construction projects.

In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating other carpenters, assigning tasks, and ensuring work is completed according to blueprints and project schedules.

You will be required to adapt to changes in weather, material deliveries, and personnel, ensuring successful project execution.

If you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial construction and a strong understanding of carpentry work, we'd like to meet you.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to : -Complete construction projects in a timely and professional manner.-Read blueprints, layout walls, and ensure construction details are followed accurately.

• Communicate material and timing of deliveries and site inventory.-Monitor and report on work by outside contractors when necessary.
• Cut, fit, and assemble lumber, plywood, and other materials for concrete forms and framing.-Follow established safety rules and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
• Knowledge of and adherence to construction industry standards and best practices.-Understanding or experience with typical commercial building materials, including : steel framing, insulation, GWB, FRP, ACT and Door Installation.
• Reliable Transportation and phone-Basic Hand ToolsThe ideal candidate should possess : -Minimum 3-5 years of construction experience, including : -Wood and steel stud framing-Door and hardware installation-Millwork installation-ACT (Acoustical Ceiling Tile)-FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Panels)-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project layouts.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.-Strong organizational and communication skills.Working Conditions : -Must be able to crawl, climb, walk, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry in excess of 50 lbs.-Must be comfortable working in confined spaces and at extreme heights.Conditions of Employment : -Subject to background and suitability investigations.
