A prominent Texas-based law firm is seeking a Litigation Intake Associate Attorney to join its Austin office. This full-time role is ideal for newly licensed or early-career attorneys interested in personal injury law. The position involves client intake, early case development, legal analysis, and participation in pre-litigation and initial litigation matters.

Duties

  • Conduct client intakes and assess legal matters for viability
  • Analyze legal issues and draft initial case strategies
  • Review demands and participate in negotiations with opposing counsel
  • Oversee the transition of cases into litigation
  • Ensure timely and ethical disbursement of client funds
  • Maintain regular communication with clients and legal team
  • Manage assigned caseload and documentation
  • Uphold professional standards and adhere to legal ethics

Requirements

  • 0–3 years of experience in personal injury or civil litigation preferred
  • Must have a valid Texas driver's license and good driving record
  • Bilingual in Spanish is a plus

    • Education

    Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

    Certifications

    Active license to practice law in Texas and in good standing
