A law firm seeks a skilled Mid-Level Associate to join its San Francisco office, specializing in corporate law with a focus on venture capital and emerging growth companies.
This position is well-suited for candidates with 3-5 years of experience in a sophisticated corporate practice, particularly those with a background in mergers and acquisitions and technology companies.
Duties :
- Provide legal counsel on venture capital transactions and represent emerging companies.
- Engage in the negotiation and drafting of various corporate agreements, including those related to mergers and acquisitions.
- Conduct comprehensive legal research and analysis to support client objectives.
- Communicate complex legal matters clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to deliver innovative solutions tailored to business needs.
Requirements :
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in corporate law, particularly with venture capital and emerging companies.
- Strong understanding of mergers and acquisitions processes and documentation.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex legal concepts.
- Proven track record of working with technology sector clients.
Education :
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited, nationally recognized law school.
Certifications :
Active membership in the California State Bar.
