Software Developer

SimVentions is a 100% employee-owned business and has consistently been voted one of Virginia's Best Places to Work. We are looking for an experienced level Software Developer to join our team to research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.

Responsibilities : Perform software engineering for analysis, design, development, and test of software as part of an integrated government team

Required Skills & Experience : 7+ years of experience with C++, C#, and Java

Preferred Skills & Experience : Experience with software development, performing software requirements analysis, software design, software coding, software integration, and software testing in a corporate or governmental Software Development Environment

Education : BS or BA degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering or Computer Engineering from an accredited college or university

Clearance : A Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Supplemental Benefit Program

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

The projected annual compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $162,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
