Software Engineer IV- Oracle HCM Developer

As a Software Engineer IV, you will work with technical teams to create software solutions that use prevailing technologies and improve the customers’ experience while adhering to business and technical requirements.

Develop, modify, enhance, and implement software systems designed to support business initiatives.

WHAT OUR SOFTWARE ENGINEER IV ENJOY MOST

• Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
• Design and implement new functionality that is testable and performant with limited oversight and guidance following best practices and approved code patterns.
• Operate within the various elements of Charter’s applicable technical systems and the impacts of their work on the organization’s outcomes.
• Understand and apply different SDLC processes, particularly Agile and Scrum; participates fully in Scrum rituals.
• Understand and apply applicable technology security and industry regulatory and legal compliance considerations.
• Identify fixes to defects raised.
• Identify system integration issues.
• Lead code review, debugging, and testing of software applications.
• Provide an LOE on a project / feature level.
• Develop software independently and write testable and performant code.
• Develop technical requirements and technical design documents.
• Support major deployments and resolve critical deployment issues.
• Collaborate with other team members to identify and solve technical problems.
• Respond to customer inquiries around the behavior of the developed software.
• Mentor Software Developer I and Software Developer IIs.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SPECTRUM

Required Qualifications

• Experience : Database management systems 2-4+ years Coding, testing, and designing software 2-4+ yearsSoftware development methodologies 2-4+ years
• Education : BA / BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Technical skills : Demonstrated knowledge of one major programming language / toolDemonstrated knowledge of coding language and syntax, usage of functions and object-oriented patternsDemonstrated knowledge of environments, docker images, container runtimes, and cloud native app developmentDemonstrated knowledge of dependent systems, e.

g., up / downstream APIs, clients, data storesDemonstrated knowledge of design patterns and software architecture patterns

• Skills : Exercise judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine appropriate actionFunctional negotiation skillsShowcases Project / Feature level work to their team and senior technical leadership

Preferred Qualifications

HCM Extracts : Extensively used the tool to develop outbound integrations and extensively uses Fast Formulas, value sets, UDT’s, Lookups, Payroll Flow to define input parameters.

Have a good knowledge on User Entities and contexts Set in UE’s.

• OIC- Used to build inbound integrations. Made use of Fast formulas to convert to HDL format to load to HCM. Used Oracle PL / SQL packages to load data into FAW.
• Extensively used VBCS, BIP (BI Publisher Reports) and OTBI
• Familiar with delivered atom feeds and REST API’s
• Knowledge of Red Wood page configurations
• knowledge of working with Oracle Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW) / Oracle Fusion data Intelligence (FDI) with Packaged Analytics applications for Oracle ERP, HCM, CX and SCM SaaS Applications.
• Implementation and support of Oracle HCM modules along with FAW / FDI, OAC, OIC, OBIEE (10g / 11g / 12C), BI Publisher (10g / 11g), OBIA, OTBI, Oracle BI Cloud Services (BICS).
