Aerotek is hiring general laborers for a distribution facility in Airpark Center East, Nashville, TN

This is a 3-4 week contract project

$19 / h Monday-Friday 1st Shift!

Job Description

• Read and interpret schematic drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, bills of materials, or reports to determine material requirements or assembly instructions.
• Physically able to lift, push, and pull up to 45 lbs. consistently through a 10-hour shift.
• Double-check connections to ensure they match and report issues to the Supervisor.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy.
• Maintain and assume responsibility for equipment (hand tools, that are issued.
• Receive, unload, and transfer materials to different workstations.

This is a contract position with a duration of 3-4 Week(s).

Work Environment

The warehouse environment is typically in the construction phase and personal protective equipment (PPE) must always be used including hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and safety shoes.

This means the work environment will include active construction contractors performing work (electricians, millwrights, concrete, plumbing, lighting, etc), porta potties until the bathrooms are operational, dust, debris, equipment being operated, limited entrances that they can enter, designated parking areas, limited lunchrooms and onsite storage, among others.
