About The Position
Job Title : X-Ray Technician Job Specialty : Radiology / Cardiology Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : Mid, 5x8-Hour (15 : 00 - 23 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Minimum of 1 year in the profession License : Valid applicable license in radiology technology Certifications : COVID-19 Vaccine not required;
Flu Vaccine required, with medical / religious exemptions and declinations allowed Must-Have : Experience with Cerner charting preferred Job Description : Perform X-ray procedures to produce images of the body for diagnostic purposes.
- Ensure radiation safety protocols are followed to protect patients and staff.- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to assess patient needs and determine appropriate imaging techniques.
- Maintain and operate radiological equipment, ensuring it is in proper working order.- Review patient medical history and explain X-ray procedures to patients, addressing any concerns.
- Adhere to facility compliance guidelines and complete required documentation.- Participate in necessary orientation and ongoing training sessions.
