Salary Information : HIRING RANGE : $23.83 – $26.91 per hour based on experience.

Work Schedule : Monday-Friday, day hours.

Job Summary

Perform administrative support of considerable difficulty, scope, depth and confidentiality in assisting lead administrators and other department staff in carrying out responsibilities. Work with students, faculty, staff, high schools, and the community to support students with disabilities.

Essential Functions

Provide direct support to Disability Services. Work with faculty, staff, students, families, high schools, and the community to answer and address Disability Services questions and / or to provide direct referrals to the Disability Services Coordinator. Provide initial intake / direct problem-solving support with students in coordination with the Coordinator, Disability Services. Process applications for accommodations and provide student and faculty accommodation letters district wide; keep accurate and updated files; file, and organize files; type and prepare / coordinate data; provide written communication with faculty / staff; ensure confidentiality of records and the application of FERPA in compliance with the ADA and Title IX. Compose or prepare correspondence, minutes, reports, statistical documents and other documents as required. Assist with the maintenance, organization, ordering, and inventory of disability services materials, equipment, and office supplies.

Serve as liaison between the administrators and departmental staff as a support to other college departments and the community. May serve as an office manager providing work direction to work study, student and / or non-regular employees.

Greet and screen office visitors and callers, resolving matters or making referrals as appropriate. Maintain appointment schedules and support time commitments and travel arrangements. Plan and schedule meetings involving internal and external participants.

Assist in budget preparation by gathering fiscal data and compiling projections. Maintain budget accounts, monitor expenditures, and support budget and journal transfers. Support the Timekeeper and the office as needed to prepare and process personnel and payroll documents, maintain attendance records, and monitor leave usage; prepare or review and process work orders, purchase orders, expense reports, and request for pay.
