Yes?Please click here to apply for the position of RN Urgent Care at the Lynn Community Health Center.In this role you will : * Triage patients in person or by phone to determine urgency and level of care needed, establishing rapport with patient to provide professional, caring and safe environment for patient during Triage.
- Perform patient procedures, assess patient health status, and provide health education to patients / families regarding pertinent health issues, clinical conditions, treatments, recommended follow up actions and / or home care.
- Assess patient needs and provide patient care under the direction of the provider or standing order and in accordance with scope of practice.
- Provide information and direction to support the Urgent Care Team CA and Clerical Staff to maximize clinic flow, promote provider support, and meet patient needs.
- Utilize those skills to interact with patients / clients, team members and staff from other departments.The successful applicant will offer : * Graduate of accredited nursing program, current Mass.
Licensure, BLS certification.* Bi-lingual in Spanish / Khmer / Russian with knowledge of medical terminology preferred.* Previous Community Health or Ambulatory Experience preferred.
Experience with diverse populations a plus.* Demonstrated IV and phlebotomy skills recommended.* Minimum 2 years' experience in Emergency Room, Urgent Care, or ICU setting recommended.
Experience with mental / behavioral health and diverse populations is a plus.* A desire to work as a collaborative member of a multi-disciplinary team.
