What will you do?
Receive oral and / or written instructions from Supervisor and / or lead person.
Receive, count, visually inspect, and verify part numbers on material and equipment.
Monitor assigned Queue for requested material from production and report any discrepancies to the Supervisor, lead person.
Safely move material between the dock, warehouse and / or manufacturing areas. Make sure all physical moves are properly and timely recorded within the SAP Warehouse Management System.
Conduct yard inventory, dock audit and / or cycle count as directed by Supervisor and / or lead person.
Perform routine preventive maintenance checks on the material handling equipment such as checking horn, tires, lights, forks and frame.
Exercise great caution and maintain alertness at all times when operating fork lift truck in order to avoid injury to pedestrians, other drivers, self and / or damage to materials.
Manage the loading and unloading of trucks including using forklift.
Operation of overhead crane
Other duties may be assigned.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly sitting and operating forklift as well as other equipment.
Employee will be exposed to machinery with moving parts, fumes, airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
