Automotive Line Technician
CAPITAL is seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Line Technician to join our team .
The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, extensive knowledge of automotive systems, and a passion for delivering high-quality service to our customers.
As the Line Technician you will be an integral part of our service department, responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure their safe and efficient operation.
Your role will involve performing a wide range of mechanical and electrical repairs on various makes and models of vehicles, including routine maintenance tasks and complex troubleshooting procedures.

Automotive Line Technician Responsibilities :
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, following manufacturer guidelines and service intervals
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on various makes and models of vehicles, including engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems
- Utilize diagnostic equipment and technical manuals to accurately diagnose problems and recommend appropriate repairs
- Replace or repair defective parts, components, or systems, ensuring proper installation and adherence to manufacturer specifications
- Collaborate with service advisors, other technicians, and parts personnel to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs
- Keep accurate records of all services performed, including parts used and labor hours expended
- Other duties assigned
Automotive Line Technician Requirements :
- Experience as an automotive technician, with hands-on experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair a wide range of automotive issues
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment, tools, and technical manuals
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- ASE certification or equivalent credentials preferred
- Must pass pre-employment background screenings
- Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm with rotating weekends
