Piper Companies is looking for a Business Development Executive to join a dynamic and growing Clinical Research Organization, supporting their "West Coast" territory (open to SoCal, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia).
The Business Development Executive will be responsible for expanding our business relationships and driving growth in a highly competitive and rewarding market.
Responsibilities for Business Development Executive :
- Lead business development efforts in the territory, driving growth in Phase 1-4 clinical trials.
- Build strong client relationships and represent the company in bid defenses and customer meetings.
- Manage and grow a subset of accounts within California, Oregon, Washington, and British Columbia.
- Comfortable with travel to meet clients in person (a couple of times per month preferred)
Qualifications for Business Development Executive :
- Minimum 4 years of experience supporting a CRO in a Business Development role, preferably with a large CRO.
- Proven experience with Phase 2 / 3 clinical trials, including successful bid defenses.
- Must be willing to travel regularly within the assigned territory for client meetings and bid defenses.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Bachelor of Science degree preferred.
Compensation / Benefits for the Business Development Executive :
- Salary range : Base salary of $145,000 - $185,000 (based on experience)
- OTE : 400,000 - $450,000
- Uncapped commission starting at dollar $1 of work order signature, with 25% paid per quarter over four quarters.
