Position Information :

Travel : RN / Med-Surg

Start ASAP

Duration : 13 weeks

GH Bi-weekly : 72

Shift : Nights 7pm to 7 : 30am; Every other weekend; No on call requirements

Qualifications / experience required prior to submitted candidate :

• BLS required; ACLS & PALS preferred
• Medical, Surgical, and PEDS experience
• 1 year at a minimum Med / Surg
• EMR : Cerner

Scope of role :  Medical patients with Heparin drips, managing diabetic patients, wounds, COPD and pneumonia patients and patients with fistulas needing dialysis(DIALYSIS not done on the unit by MS nurses) surgical patients : colectomies, orthopedic cases and podiatry cases as well AS GYN and general surgery patients. Pediatric patients

Patient Ratios : 1 : 6

Number of Beds in Unit : 26 Medical beds and  20 surgical beds, staff work between both units

Monthly Department Volume : 582 patient days per month
