Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina, is excited to welcome a skilled Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join our team of 5. Our cardiac team shares call equally (1 : 6) from home with no in-house call responsibility. Weekend and holiday cardiac call is also shared equally by the group (1 : 6). We are the second busiest cardiac program in the state of NC yet our team enjoys the camaraderie of a much smaller group. We have 4 highly capable CV surgeons performing 1400 bypass annually, 300-400 lung cases, TAVR, LVAD, ECMO, lots of valves. No pediatrics, no transplants. This is a care team model, you will be supervising 4-5 rooms of cardiac specialty CRNAs.

Qualified Candidates :

• Board certified or eligible in Cardiac Anesthesiology with the ability to be licensed in NC-Fellowship highly preferred; will consider highly experienced in practice of cardiac; if not fellowship trained, must be boarded in advanced periop TEE.
• Must be eligible to work in the US without restriction
