Customer Service Account Manager
Job description
Aero Instruments and Avionics, Inc. is a leader in the commercial aviation repair market, and we are seeking a Customer Service Account Manager to join our growing team.
To be successful in this role, you must be able to handle multiple priorities simultaneously to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate is assertive, enthusiastic, well organized, with excellent communication skills, and takes ownership of a customer's request from the quote until shipment of the finished product.
Responsibilities :
- Considered to be experienced in customer service.
- Must possess ability to work with some supervision
- Must be willing to learn new skills to advance within the company.
- Must be willing to follow company policies and procedures
- Needs to be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
- RFQ's given via phone calls, emails, websites (giving out averages for BT, Repair, OH)
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
- Update customers on current open orders with by sending status reports
- Facilitate expedites and AOG requests
- Acknowledging and resolving customer concerns.
- Provide a monthly Customer Review of top customers with slide show by tracking customer KPI's and metrics using Power BI
- Communicating with customers through various channels.
- Communicating and coordinating with colleagues as necessary.
- Maintaining a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
- Responding promptly to customer inquiries.
- Assist with placement of orders, or exchanges.
- Assist accounting with reaching out for payment on prepay customers as well as overdue customers.
- Identify new business opportunities
- Able to navigate through an ERP System
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
- High school diploma / GED
- Minimum 1 year Customer Service or Account Representative experience
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite
- Knowledge of ERP and / or CRM systems
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills and negotiation skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to adapt to change
- An ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries within established service level agreements
Preferred :
- Associate's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or relevant field
- Knowledge of aviation products and market

Salary : $58,458.40 - $70,000.00 / year DOE
