RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparation of journal entries to support monthly close
- Preparation of monthly account reconciliations, including bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Analyze account balances and financial statements to identify variances from prior periods and budget
- Assist in the preparation and support for SEC filings, on a quarterly basis and assist in preparing support for the external auditors
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and / or Finance from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College required
- 2+ years professional work experience within month end close process and / or public accountant experience
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
- Track record of commitment to employers
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- Master's degree in Accounting
- CPA license or candidate to sit for CPA exam
- Public accounting firm experience
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP
- Evidence of strong academic performance in college
