Position Overview
This position is for a licensed, Physical Therapist looking to join our team providing Inpatient services to the Shreveport area.

Our caseload is primarily orthopedic seeing both chronic and acute conditions as well as providing post-operative care to the spine and extremities.
This position is a PRN day shift position.
Essential Job Functions
- Performs physical therapy evaluations, establishes appropriate plans of care, and effectively implements treatments to restore patient to maximum function
- Collaborates well with designated team of PTAs and supervises PT technicians to provide best quality of care for patient
- Maintains accurate paper and electronic record of documentation of services rendered per hospital and state guidelines
- Cultivates relationships with referring physicians and communicates as necessary regarding patient care
- Creates and maintains good patient-therapist rapport to ensure successful therapy experience
- Assists in on-call weekend coverage for inpatient floor (up to 2 weekends per quarter)
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of physical therapy
- Active License to practice physical therapy in Louisiana
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (with AED)
