Position Overview :

As an Assembler, you will support a range of activities in ahigh-energy production environment putting together the final assembly tomanufacture the best rail vehicles in the world.

What your day will look like :

• Mechanical and Electrical assembly of componentsand sub-assemblies (according to engineering drawings, specifications, and workinstructions).
• Reading and understanding assembly drawings,bills of materials, and assembly instructions.
• Safely using hand and power tools. Somecertifications may be required to operate cranes, forklifts, etc.
• Complete work order documentation, qualitydocuments, and clock your labor hours.
• Follow all safety requirements using allrequired Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

For your safety, we require :

• A High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to read and understand writteninstructions and communicate using the English language.
• General Mechanic and Electrical background
• Understanding of metric system measurements(preferred)

• Frequently walk, reach with hands and arms,stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

• Occasionally lift and move at most 40 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision,distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and theability to focus.

This position is located in Sacramento, CA. The base hourly pay is from $20.00 per hour (plus shift premium 10% for2nd shift, 20% for 3rd shift).

This is a first shift position. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
