The purpose of the Payroll Specialist is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates and to process member payroll transactions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Processes payroll transactions
Processes Personnel Action Forms
Maintains member receivables
Ensures accurate coding of payroll transactions
Identifies internal control issues by reviewing existing policies, verifying changes in authorized personnel, and communicating issues to the Assistant Controller / Payroll Manager
Knows and understands the Park Place Privacy and Information Securities Policy and adhere to its requirements
Attends weekly department meetings
JOB REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
High School or General Education Degree (GED); and six months to one year related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook
