Client Overview :
Our client is seeking an Accounting Analyst to work in their Accounting team out of the Pembroke Pines, FL office.
Salary / Hourly Rate :
$50k $55k
Position Overview :
The Accounting Analyst will assist with processing invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and efficiently. They will be responsible for supporting the creation of financial forecasts by analyzing trends and predicting future financial performance.
The Accounting Analyst should have an understanding of basic accounting principles.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Analyst :
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards.
- Reconciling accounts and resolving discrepancies.
- Accurately entering financial data into accounting systems.
- Assisting in the development of budgets by gathering data, and forecasting expenses, and revenues.
- Comparing actual results to budgeted figures, identifying discrepancies, and explaining variances.
- Understanding cost drivers and assisting in analyzing and controlling expenses to adhere to the budget.
- Generating budget reports and monitoring budget adherence throughout the financial period.
Qualifications for the Accounting Analyst :
- Proficient in Excel.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Education Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Open to candidates currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
