What You Will Do :

• Lead a multi-disciplined team’s efforts within Engineering.
• Responsible for leadership, management, and oversight of the ICTs efforts across multiple contracts.
• Be challenged with significant complexity related to the relationships within the customer / Prime community.
• Empowered to make decisions of significant importance to the joint business interests and will need to work closely with leadership across AST.
• Travel up to 10% travel time to other AST sites and customer sites.

Qualifications You Must Have :

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws / regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 6 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with Systems Engineering process and / or Software Product Development.
• Experience working in the defense industry, the Intelligence Community, or with other government agencies.
• Experience with program planning, execution and / or support (cost / budget, schedule, integration, and / or project management).
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued TS / SCI security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.

S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer :

• Active U.S. government issued TS / SCI security clearance or current SSBI.
• Experience with broadband communications including network operations, transport structures and switching equipment
• Experience providing technical leadership to engineers throughout the entire Systems lifecycle.
• Experience managing strategic business to drive growth.

Onsite : Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees, as they are essential to the development of our products.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education / training, and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
