Position : School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Contractor through Soliant Education

Location : Salisbury, NC

Employment Type : Full-time or Part-time (Flexible Hours), Full School Year Contract

Job Description : Soliant Education is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team for the upcoming school year in Salisbury, NC.

As a contracted SLP, you will work within a supportive school district environment, providing essential speech and language therapy services to students from diverse backgrounds and age groups.

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students speech and language abilities.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and educational goals.
  • Provide direct therapy services in group and one-on-one settings as per IEP (Individualized Education Program) requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress, assessments, and interventions.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student goals and objectives.

Qualifications :

  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for clinical fellowship year (CFY).
  • State licensure or eligibility for licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in North Carolina.
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
