JOB DESCRIPTION The Senior Manager, Biddable Media leads a team responsible for Inspire’s local biddable strategy, planning, & campaign activation across 2 paid channels : Programmatic & Social Media.
The right candidate brings mastery of at least one paid biddable media channel (Programmatic or Social), with a desire to quickly become proficient at a strategic level in another channel (with training, of course!).
Breadth & depth of experience in 2 channels is preferred but not required.
As the team lead, the Senior Manager is responsible for the Local Biddable pod’s output & performance and will work cross-functionally between Media Strategy & Planning and Agency teams to develop and execute best-in-class localized campaigns that drive results for our brands across +30 market areas.
Leading a team of at least 6 direct reports, the local lead will oversee the team and develop future digital media experts & people managers.
The local lead will drive best-in-class strategic approaches to execute campaigns and manage the cohesion with national media investment in the same channels, while consistently delivering innovative media solutions that drive new guests into our restaurants & digital restaurant experiences.
This position sits in our Atlanta Support Center, with the expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Digital Media Operations
- Lead Inspire Biddable Local campaign efforts.
- Be a part of the Inspire Biddable Team; a 30-person in-house biddable media team, a part of the larger Demand Generations groups & Commercial Teams.
- Be responsible & accountable for all local programmatic & social strategies, tactic selection, and performance across 34 designated market areas.
- Develop & grow talent. Directly lead & manage a team of at least 6, ensuring brand expectations are met while cultivating future leaders on the team by establishing goals & development plans.
- Work closely with Inspire’s Programmatic and Social Practice leads to ensure best practices & playbooks are followed while developing a pipeline of innovative tactics to drive performance in local executions.
Agency and Cross-Functional Internal Teams Collaboration
- Work in partnership with VP, National Biddable, & Agency to ensure careful collaboration & synergy across campaigns to deliver maximum performance.
- Work closely with the internal Digital Product team to ensure all owned and operated sites, and apps are tagged / pixeled accordingly.
- Interface with external / internal teams in managing requests concerning processes and deliverables. This will include but not be limited to internal brand and enterprise analytics teams and 3rd party auditors.
- Partner with the agency & media analytics team to measure the impact of ongoing campaigns and overall plan.
- Work closely with other internal departments to develop a learning agenda and testing roadmap based on brands’ objectives, insights, and key challenges.
Brand
- Leads communications with the Media Strategy & Planning Team, and the Agency planning teams, as the face of the Local Biddable team for the Brand.
- Responsible for the accurate financial stewardship of local biddable investment Oversee the output of local pod, ensuring expectations meet MS&P and Brand needs.
- Work across brands to identify and scale best practices.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
- 4-year Degree required.
- 8+ years working in media buying either on the agency side or the client side.
- Expert level in at least one channel : Programmatic (or) Social.
- Local media activation expertise is preferred, but not required.
- Experience managing people and projects.
- Demonstrated experience in channel leadership, driving best practices, & performance gain.
- Demonstrated experience in problem-solving and managing multiple tasks.
