Server

We are looking for a server to join our team at our popular spot, Keys & Heels, a speakeasy cocktail lounge on the Upper East Side!

MUST have high demand serving experience, a confident, friendly personality, and be good at working a high energy, lively place and enjoy dynamic interactions with your guests.

Vibe and professionalism are super important to us, so good energy, an upbeat / can-do team spirit is what we are looking for!

Keys & Heels is an ambient cocktail lounge hidden behind the frontage of a rundown NY shoe repair shop.

It is currently open Wednesdays to Saturday evenings to the public, and other days for private events. Wednesdays we are open 6pm-12am & Thursday we are open 6pm-1am, and Friday & Saturday 6pm-2am.

Your role as a server will be to welcome your guests at their tables, educate and inform on the menu, and answer any questions they may have about the offering and the space, to guide them in their decision making, take orders and bring them to your tables, as well as supporting the whole team in the execution of a well run night!

You will be responsible for communicating any issues or concerns with your manager, as well as supporting your fellow servers and bar team.

We are very much a tight team and operate as such.

For private events, your role will be making sure guests feel welcome and are well taken care of, that their food, beverage, and seating needs are met, as well as the passing out of food and drinks throughout the night.

We are looking for someone that takes pride in hospitality and their work, as well as one who enjoys engaging with clients.

Bubbly personalities and warm people skills are recommended for this role. You will work closely with our General Manager and Events manager to maintain the standards of our offerings, as well as honing, curating, and improving on guests overall experience.

The responsibilities include :

• Creating a welcoming first and last impression!
• Greeting guests in a cheerful, warm and engaging way.
• Educating oneself on our menu and being able to confidently guide your guests accordingly.
• Taking and delivering orders.
• Exacting high standards in your appearance, attitude and service.
• Supporting your team and their needs.
• Maintaining a clean, organized and efficient work space.
• Using Toast POS system.
• Staying on top of tables, making sure they are able to reorder or close out efficiently to keep your tables turning.
• Communicating with the door team your tables progress.
• Communicating any issue or concerns to your managers.
• Arriving on time and, well put together and in the uniform, as per the managers schedule, of which you will always have advanced notice.
