Job Description
$28.00 / hour - 20 hours / week
The WIC Program is seeking a Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) to assist WIC mothers and infants with complex breastfeeding problems that are outside the scope of practice of WIC peer counselors and other WIC staff.
EDUCATION : Must possess the following licensures / accreditation :
Must have IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) accreditation
QUALIFICATIONS :
- At least 1 year of experience in counseling breastfeeding mother / infant dyads.
- Experience working with lower socio-economic status breastfeeding mothers and infants who experience complex breastfeeding challenges
This job reports to the Clark County WIC Breastfeeding Coordinator
