Azure Data Engineer

A company is looking for an Azure Data Engineer to lead the administration, integration, and technical optimization of Microsoft Purview.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as the technical owner and administrator for Microsoft Purview, managing configurations and access controls

Automate metadata ingestion and lineage capture from Azure services and external sources

Integrate Purview with existing data pipelines and design technical metadata models

Required Qualifications

4+ years of experience in cloud data engineering, platform administration, or data governance roles

Familiarity with Azure Data Services such as Synapse and Data Lake Gen2

Understanding of data catalog structures and metadata types

Ability to troubleshoot scanning issues and permission gaps across data sources

1+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Purview preferred
