Aviation Lead Technician

Hello Aviation World,

Currently, we are looking to add a Lead A&P Technician to our team. This individual will need to possess an A&P License as well as an IA.

This individual will help us in growing our maintenance team!

Key Responsibilities :

• General Aviation experience is a plus! Piston + Turban
• Review and assess project work scopes to assist in part procurement
• Aircraft management, Team building, Supervision
• Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders or reports
• Staff Development and Training Technical Support
• Ability to Inspect aircraft, wiring installations, assemblies and circuits
• Ability to Assemble electrical or electronic systems or support structures and install components, units, subassemblies, wiring or assembly casings, using rivets, bolts, soldering or micro-welding equipment is a plus
• Ability and knowledge to perform avionic system installations / modifications and train others
• Able to Troubleshoot and Correct defects in accordance with established processes
• Work on the development of a new maintenance department

Skills & Abilities :

• A&P license, IA
• Education : High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) is required; some college or degree in management is preferred.
• Experience : minimum of 4-6 years of HANDS ON experience
• Certifications / Licenses : A&P + IA or intention to gather an IA.
