    $500 new hire reliability bonus for 500 hours worked! This equals $100 for every 100 hours (until you reach 500) with proven great reliability (no tardies or call-offs without documentation within the 100-hour increments).

    ComForCare Home Care Washtenaw-Livingston is looking for caregivers, certified nursing assistants (CNA), medical students, and home health aides to help provide clients with care within their home.

    If you are able to assist our entire range of clients, are COVID vaccinated, have at least 3 years of experience, and can work a varying range of shifts, you are the person we are looking for!

    • We are looking for someone that can work a mix of days, afternoons, overnights, weekends, and on-call shifts.
    • Potential options are full-time and part-time.
    • Our clients are in Washtenaw and Livingston counties, so you must be willing to travel to the clients home, or the facility where they reside.
    • Shifts range from 2-12 hours.

    Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $19 (firm) and depends on factors like experience, skillset, and availability. This is base pay and there are also potential incentives for picking up last-minute shifts, special cases, and for some clients when becoming a part of their care team!

    We also offer on-call coverage for a premium that you receive whether you are called in or not! Your hourly would begin when you are called in, but the bonus would be yours to keep regardless.

    Essential responsibilities include but are not limited to :

    • Provide conversation and mental engagement.
    • Provide assistance with daily household / personal care management through daily activities to help clients stay independent, and in their own homes.
    • Transportation for clients which includes visits to doctor appointments, friends, family members, or stores.
    • Observe and report changes in the clients physical condition, behavior, or appearance.
    • Provide companionship for the client. This includes accompanying clients on walks, trips to social / recreational activities, assistance with hobbies, etc.
    • Provide assistance with personal care.
    • Assist with mobility, transfers, and range of motion exercises.
    • Stand by assist to ensure safety for the client.
    • Handle meal planning, preparation and feeding.
    • Provide companionship and respite services for the family.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Requirements :

    • A passion to serve and help others live their best lives possible.
    • High school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.
    • At least 3 years of previous experience as an at home caregiver, or in senior communities / facilities with references.
    • A valid drivers license, auto insurance, and reliable vehicle. All will be verified.
    • Willingness to go directly to the clients home.
    • Willing to drive clients to appointments or provide transportation.
    • Willing to work a mix of shifts that include days, afternoons, overnights, weekends, and on-call.
    • COVID vaccinated.
