JOB SUMMARY

Schedule : Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM Clinic

Responsible for providing health care for patients in designated primary or specialty areas, including patient diagnoses, treatment, education, and referrals. The physician in this position will focus on preventing, diagnosing, and treating illnesses and injuries, and consultation referrals.

Compensation to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Employment for this position is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Performs complete history and physical examinations for patients.
  • Serve as a staff provider at clinic.
  • Educates patients and makes recommendations related to current health, wellness and nutrition.
  • Assist in making referrals, triage requests and follow-up with patients as necessary.
  • Maintain appropriate records detailing the patient's evaluation and recommendations. Initiates timely referrals when the problem exceeds scope of practice and / or expertise.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires a minimum of 3 years of medical practice experience
  • Certifications required : ACLS, BLS
  • Medical Doctor (M.D.)
  • Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Board Certification
  • Active, non-probationary, unrestricted State License
  • Active DEA license
  • State licensed in TX
  • US work authorization
  • EDUCATION

  • Ensure continuity of care through effective communication and documentation
